This is the original 'Bar Cam' & it has been running since April 2003 and had a new lens fitted in July 2004 as the old one was starting to get rather dirty! In Feb 2005 we upgraded the camera completely and changed the view so that you can see more. After a full bar refurbishment in January 2008, we decided to upgrade the camera to a LIVE STREAM version in September 2008, and at the same time increased the resolution. After a system failure in March 2009, the webcam was re launched in April 2009 using new software, and both Java and Flash versions were offered. Also the original 10 second camera was updated to show a new image every 5 seconds. At the end of October 2010, a new capture device was installed and the resolution was again increased. The format was also changed from standard to widescreen.
